Challenge

As Rimmel looked to launch the new range of Salon Pro nail varnishes designed by Kate Moss, they wanted to create an online film which not only showcased the new range of colours, but also the inspiration behind it - different genres of music.

Solution

We wanted to create something as iconic as the Rimmel brand and that was distinct from content produced by other leading beauty brands. Our creative featured an animated stop motion film which featured each shade of the Salon Pro Nail polish in an iconic London tableaux inspired by different music genres; "Punk Rock Pink" in Camden, "Brit Pop Blue" at Abbey road and "Hip Hop Red" on Regent's Street. With such a focus on music, we licensed an upbeat track by the up and coming indie group "The Graveltones" and the result was a dynamic and excited piece of content which received over 15,000 views on YouTube.
