To showcase Tesco Mobile’s new, low cost European tariffs they wanted to create an engaging virtual reality experience in some of the most exciting European holiday destinations. The request was something akin to a video postcard that would transport the viewer to an exciting location and then finally make them aware that from this year they will be able to share their holiday moments with friends and family for a low cost. The experience would need to work as part of an experiential activation in 500 stores up and down the country. Above all else they should be fun and memorable, and tap into those experiences we all have and enjoy when we go on our summer holiday.

The piece played in 500 different stores across the UK and received praise in industry press for its innovation. Online it gained hundreds of thousands of views and received extra interest due to the unique river rafting and water slide experience that was created.
